The purpose of the present research is to investigate the moderating effect of demographic variables on the relationship between job burnout and its consequences among the staff of an Iranian public sector company. In this research, job burnout is considered as independent variable; organizational commitment, intention to leave and the employees’ job satisfaction are dependent variables; and the age, gender, marital status and educational level are moderating variables.
