Abstract

Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) is a strategy that incorporates environmental responsibility and employee involvement into HR strategies. This research will address a major research gap in the role of GHRM in emerging frugalities by establishing the impacts of GHRM practices on ES (ES) in IT firms located in Telangana, India. The mixed-method design was employed to collect data on 214 employees, which consisted of quantitative questionnaires and qualitative semi-structured interviews. In order to identify the correlation and significance of different GHRM processes, statistical methods were used, including multiple regression, correlation and chi-square. The most important practice in our investigation was Green Performance Management (GPM) that measures ES and has a positive effect on GPM. Legislation, resource constraints and resistance to change will not necessarily dominate, despite the eco-friendly HR practices reducing participation, morale and general well-being. Companies that may want to adopt GHRM practices to achieve sustainable objectives and enhance the happiness of their employees will find this paper useful.
