Abstract
In recent years, China’s cross-border e-commerce has grown rapidly in tandem with the Belt and Road Initiative, playing a significant role in foreign trade. The Belt and Road Initiative is a development policy by the Government of China that focuses on cooperation and connectivity between Eurasian countries. External factors, including inspection, foreign exchange management, quarantine, and customs, highly influence China's cross-border e-commerce. In this paper, China's cross-border e-commerce development model and challenges, based on the Belt and Road Initiative, are proposed using the Provider & Integrator Dominated Decision Model (P&IDDM). The P&IDDM model was used to collect the modelling time-series data, such as macroeconomic data, and to elaborate on the cross-border e-commerce development patterns, correlation analysis, and co-integration of affecting factors, with the help of the Belt and Road Initiative. The experimental results show that the proposed P&IDDM model enhances logistics construction data and e-commerce development among China's cross-border professionals. The proposed P&IDDM framework further supports innovations in production and distribution management by leveraging big data analytics to improve decision-making, logistics coordination, and cross-border e-commerce performance.
