Abstract
As the global world becomes more connected and increases the focus on the environment and global policy, such as the role of green finance (GF) as a binding parameter between environmental degradation and economic growth. This research centers on the tourism industry in Uzbekistan, which is one of the fastest-growing and most environmentally conscious sectors across the globe. To determine the relationship between Sustainable Tourism Development (STD) and Green Finance Awareness (GFA) through the lens of Local Business Interest (LBI), as one of the key mechanism adoptions, using the Multiple linear regression model. The stats show that the only eco-investment interest and GF awareness are high direct drivers of sustainable Tourism. The research explains that to facilitate the GF potential of the tourism sector, where the awareness and building of investor confidence through promotion of the supportive legislation is vital for the tourism industry. To expand sustainable tourism practices, specific financial tools, governmental incentives, and public-private partnerships are among the recommendations. This work contributes to the literature and provides insights for policymakers and stakeholders on the subject because it offers context-specific information based on evidence and a comprehensive approach to align the tourism growth with sustainable finance objectives in Uzbekistan.
